Sean Dickson played a fine knock of 42 in 29 balls to take Somerset to 150 before they were bowled out.

The pitch looked difficult to bat on and chasing wouldn't have been easy for Essex. They started off badly, losing Adam Rossington and Robin Das within the powerplay overs. Michael Kyle Pepper kept Essex in the game as he smashed 63 off 43 balls. Once he was dismissed, wickets kept falling at regular intervals and Essex lost the plot. A good death bowling by Somerset saw Essex getting bowled out for 139, losing the match by 11 runs.
