Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) had a torrid start with the bat as they lost three quick wickets. Sophie Devine, skipper Smriti Mandhana and Ellyse Perry  were back in the hut for just 53 runs. But after that, debutante Sabbhineni Meghana (53:44b, 7x4, 1x6) and Richa Ghosh (62:37b, 12x4) bailed the team out of trouble and put them in a decent position. Based on their 71-run stand, RCB posted a total of 157 for six on the board. For UP Warriorz, Rajeshwari Gayakwad picked two wickets.

UP Warriorz lost skipper Alyssa Healy for five runs in the second over of the chase. However, they both lost their wickets in the span of two balls as the team was reduced to 49 for three. Grace Harris (38:23b, 4x4, 2x6) and Shewta Sehrawat (31:25b, 2x4, 1x6) steadied the ship for the team with their 77-run stand. After the duo got out in the 17th over, the game went down to the last over. With 11 runs needed in the last over, Sophie Molineux gave away just two runs in the first four balls. Even though Deepti Sharma (13 not out:9b, 2x4) hit a boundary on the fifth ball, the RCB bowler held her nerve and won the game for her team by two runs.
