Gujarat Titans have showed their A game in the second qualifier against Mumbai Indians where they beat the latter by a huge margin of 62 runs.

In the Second Qualifier, Gujarat Titans batted first and they posted a huge total of 233 for 3 in 20 overs. Shubman Gill went all guns blazing right from the word go. He smashed the bowlers to all parts of the ground and scored a century. He was dismissed after scoring 129 off 60 deliveries. Sai Sudarshan also played a nice second fiddle. He scored 43 off 31 balls. On the back of these brilliant knocks, Gujarat Titans got to 233 in 20 overs of play.

During the chase, Mumbai Indians lost Rohit Sharma and Nehal Wadhera (who was promoted up the order) early on. Tilak Varma played a superb cameo of 43 in 14 balls but was dismissed at a wrong time by Rashid Khan. Suryakumar Yadav kept fighting and made 61 off 38 balls. Once he was out, the hopes for Mumbai Indians went down the drain. They were eventually bowled out for 171, losing the match by 62 runs.

Rashid Khan in the lower order tried his best to take GT home with a knock of 30 runs in 16 balls but failed as Gujarat Titans were bowled out for 157, losing the match by 15 runs.
