Asked to bat, Bengaluru posted a total of 183 for three, in response Rajasthan chased the target comfortably with five balls to spare. 

Bengaluru had a dream start to their innings, thanks to Virat Kohli (113 not out:72b, 12x4, 4x6) and Faf du Plessis (44:33b, 2x4, 2x6). The Virat-du Plessis stand added 125 runs stand for the opening partnership.

But once the captain was back in the hut, Bengaluru couldn’t get going at all and lost quick wickets. Kohli made sure he stayed there till the end and brought up his eighth IPL hundred.

Based on his innings, Bengaluru posted a total of 183 for three on the board. For Rajasthan, Yuzvendra Chahal picked two wickets. 

It was a torrid start for Rajasthan as Yashasvi Jaiswal fell for a two-ball duck. But in what was the biggest positive for Rajasthan, Jos Buttler (100 not out: 58b, 9x4, 4x6) returned to form.

The keeper-batter along with Sanju Samson (69:42b, 8x4, 2x6) stitched 148 runs and put their team in a winning position. Rajasthan then made sure they chased the target with ease and won their fourth game of the season.
